There was 3 adults, 1 kid and a baby with us. We got the family loft and it was perfect for us. Bed on the one floor and then 3 beds upstairs. The kitchen was nice to have but it didnt have alot of pans/dishes so it took a long time to cook. I was worried about my kid falling down the stairs as there was only railing on one side. The pool was good. They have a smaller pool at 3 ft deep for the little kids to swim in. The pool was out of the way. We had to go outside and then go down a few flights of stairs and then up some slippery steps to get to the pool.
The front desk was hard to get a hold of. Was on hold for a long time.

Dear theonlylostmoose

We are happy to hear you found the family suite perfect for you and enjoyed our pool.
Our kitchenettes are stocked with the basics with extra items available upon request.
There is a caution sign for the stairs as they access the change rooms, sauna and steamroom from the pool area.
Our apologies for keeping you on hold. We do our very best to provide fast, efficient service to all of our valued guests.
Thank you for taking the time to post your review.
Sincerely
The Best Western Jasper Inn Management Team

We had a very clean large quiet room on the 1st floor at the back of the Inn fully equipped for self catering (though we actually weren't self catering ourselves). The bedroom was on a mezzanine floor above. The bed was comfortable, though only a double size. The breakfast was a very good buffet with hot food included. The Inn had an excellent guest laundry, clean and everything working. This was very useful for us as we were travelling around the Rockies by car and Jasper was the halfway point in our holiday. It is about a 15 minute level walk to the town or the railway station.

Room Tip: Our room with the bedroom on the mezzanine floor worked fine.

Lovely hotel and the 2 bedroom suite definitely had the wow factor as you first went in. It's made very clear that there's no aircon and the substantial fans provided are very useful and effective. Downsides are the bathroom extractor fan was ineffective, there's only 1 lamp in the separate bedroom so it's quite dark, the swimming pool is too cold and the hot tub is too hot. Laundry facilities were good but well used so don't assume they will be free when you want to use them.

Dear Gill C

Thank you for your review of our "Lovely Hotel". We are sorry to hear you found the pool too cold and hot tub too hot. Recommended pool temperatures are between 78F - 82F. We run our pool between 81F-82F. If temperatures are higher than this, than more chemicals are required.
Sincerely

I booked a couple of nights in Jasper about 10 months before our trip was due. Prices in Jasper seemed very high for double rooms, and I wandered if this was due to 2017 being a high demand year due to 150th anniversary publicity.

When we turned up, I found the reason for the high price. I had ordered a 1 bedroom suite with kitchenette. Sure enough, the details were listed in my email confirmation from 10 months ago. We were pleasantly surprised and the room was well appointed. Compared to the cramped conditions we had suffered in Banff, this felt very civilised! Facilities were modern with two TVs.

Room was in the basement with internal corridor access. Privacy and noise levels were ok despite nearby laundry rooms being continuously used.

Bed mattress suffered some sagging, leading to a sore back. Reception staff noted this and said that maintenance would take care of this.

Restaurant was excellent and we treated ourselves to the striploin steak.

Lovely room, well appointed. I found the beds uncomfortable. No soundproofing to the corridor. Housekeeping staff could be heard till 11pm and again from 6am.
Great pool, great kitchen. Would consider staying again but in a different room.

Dear Steve B

Thank you for taking the time to post your review.
We are sorry to hear of the noise issue you experienced, however we do not have housekeeping staff on at 11 pm and they being their day at 8 am. Our night security is available for any reported noise issues so again our apologies that we were unaware of this during your stay.
We would welcome the opportunity to host you again in the future with the chance to make amends.
Sincerely
