We travel frequently and seek upscale resorts, B&Bs, hiking, and good local restaurants. It's all there in spades. You won't find a more beautiful, warm welcoming, comfortable, and quiet place to stay near Nanaimo. We really looked forward to coming back after a day full of spectacular hiking and driving in the local area. Breakfast was wholesome and gourmet. Marilyn was an awesome host and really fun to talk with. Go there!

We stayed 2 wonderful days in June 2017 at this outstanding house. I can only repeat the previous reviews. This is really an impressive house with high class interior and an unbeatable view over the sea. There are several gorgeous terraces even with a hot tub, which we enjoyed a lot. But our favourite place became the great patio right at the sea at sunset time, when we watched a sea otter family making their way from the sea up the rocks. Finally, it was our best BC experience because of Marilyn and Glenn! We're so lucky for the chance to have met these two extraordinarily warmhearted, generous and open minded persons! Incredible, it felt like staying with friends after 5 minutes. An impressive meeting, thinking of them ever since.

If you have never had the opportunity to take in the Bed & Breakfast experience, the MGM Seashore Bed & Breakfast on Vancouver Island is a great place to start. B&B’s provide the international traveller with an insight on how the local people live their daily lives, something that you cannot get at a hotel. I just finished spending a week at the MGM Seashore B&B with my family. It is one of the best B&B’s in Canada! This ocean front home offers a perfect vista of land, sea and sky with spectacular views of sunrises and sunsets. The owners, Marilyn and Glenn, are two of the kindest and most genuine people that you will ever meet. In addition to creating nutritious and delicious breakfasts every morning, they also offered very helpful tips for touring the island, shopping, dining and other life dilemmas. If you are looking for a secluded place in Nanaimo to relax and unwind from the daily stresses of life, this is the place to be!

A good place to stay, quiet and not fare away from the city center of Nanaimo located direct at the water front. Dears are walking on the street (sometimes) and eagles flew over the terrace. Breakfast is top. Hospitality is excellent.

We've stayed at a lot of bed and breakfasts over the years but this one tops the list. We were welcomed by Marilyn and Glenn who made us feel right at home. The house is exquisitely decorated, right out of House Beautiful. The views from our room and patios were amazing, so much so that in the evening, we just sat there enjoying the vista. Marilyn and Glenn are gracious hosts and we can see why they've made friends all around the world. Breakfasts were excellent and tailored to your tastes. Glenn makes his own fabulous bread and butter. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend their home for a wonderful stay.

Room Tip: Go for the honeyroom suite. It's amazing.
