Vancouver is such a beautiful city, and St Regis is a lovely boutique hotel in an excellent location and accomodating vibe. After a 13 hour flight it was nice to be warmly greeted by the staff on our arrival . The room was well appointed, and very comfortable. We were facing Dunsmuir Street which initially I thought road and pedestrian noise may have been a problem, but this was not the case. As mentioned, breakfast was included - simple but adequate. Ate one night at the adjoining bar and grill - delicious and reasonably priced with friendly service.
I’d love to give a five star rating, but had to drop it to 4 based on the unusual (though not unpleasant) smell in the room mentioned by others, and while the toiletries were of excellent quality, for a three night stay for two people, the body wash wasn’t replaced (travelling very light for a long trip so didn’t have our own) after getting through it after two.
All in all, I would recommend St Regis (as it was to us). More
