We came across the maritime building by accident- we were admiring the outside of the building when a really friendly canadian lady who worked there showed us we could go inside to see it- its beautiful, very ornate, and the lifts are beautiful inlaid wood. We went up to the 2nd floor and you get a great view of the frescos close up. The twirling revolving door to get inside is fun too!
