Beautiful hotel and friendly staff. The location was perfect a short little walk over the bridge and everything you need is there. Lots of shopping and restaurants close by. Great view from our room of the Parliament building and felt safe walking at night

I had the good fortune to stay a couple of nights at this hotel while on business in Victoria.

I was given a very comfortable room, tucked away in a quite corner of the 4th Floor. The room was very spacious with 2 queen beds, a smart desk and television. The view wasn't exactly great (overlooking a condo complex) but the windows brought a lot of light, albeit it was pouring rain.

The amenities of the hotel are top notch, and they have a decent restaurant and lounge.

The front desk staff were very professional and most helpful.

Overall a comfortable stay.

Restaurant downstairs was super yummy. I enjoyed breakfast, lunch and dinner down there. Gym is clean and has all the equipment needed. Pool area and all common areas very well kept. Staff was great to deal with, always happy and eager to provide assistance.

All we can say is WOW! We only had one night in Victoria, but what a place to spend it. Our room overlooked the water across to the CBD. It was a beautiful sight both during the day and night. We watched sea planes come in for landing and the comings and goings of water craft of all shapes and sizes.

The room was exceptional. It was clean and very comfortable. The only issue we had was the windows were a little dirty, which mode it hard to take photos of the view.

The value was exceptional. Just be careful if you get a complimentary breakfast. It has a set dollar value and you will have to pay the difference if you go beyond that.

As we were there for only one night, we didn't get an opportunity to explore or use all the hotel ammenities, but still, we can't recommend this hotel highly enough.

Room Tip: Take an upgrade to a water view room, you won't regret it.

Very nice hotel just over the bridge from the main core of Victoria. Stayed in a double queen which had plenty of room. Lobby area clean and welcoming. Front desk staff very pleasant and friendly. Easy underground parking. Pool area was also clean and a good size. Fantastic views of the water.

Cleanliness of room could have been slightly better (something had spilled on the baseboards which hadn't been cleaned up, toothpaste spills in bathroom). Shower was good. Tea and coffee making facilities were adequate (still don't understand why North American hotels don't give you a little cookie packet like they do in UK/NZ).

Unfortunately nowhere to get a quick snack other than the main restaurant after 11.30 in the morning.

Breakfast was OK in Lure, but be warned. The Marriott website states there is Full American or Continental buffet breakfast. THERE ISN'T!!! Only from the menu which was fairly expensive for what it was, despite gorgeous views over the harbour.

Water taxi available from hotel across to downtown core.

Free wifi available throughout hotel, but not strong enough signal for FaceTime!

Room Tip: Not floor 3! It's the floor all the conference rooms are on :-)
