Well I don't usually write bad reviews but it being our second stay which was worse than our first stay, have decided to write a warning! checked other bad reviews to confirm it wasn't just us that thought the place was over priced, run down, dirty, destitute and isolated, windows where so filthy that when the sun came up you could hardly see the beautiful golf course views, which is kinda what your paying over $300 per night, oh ya unless your staying 3 days there's NO room service in the way of cleaning of bed sheets towel etc.. check out you have to put any dishes in the dish washer and turn it on before leaving or you'll be charged a $50 fee,we had 4 glasses. for those who enjoy getting up n going for a quality coffee,pastry,eggs,etc.. be prepared to drive back into Vernon, yes they have a "Market" which is closer to a commissary that closes at 9pm, have had better coffee from gas stations. we know this because we arrived back to Motel and needed bottle waters, vending machines were all out the maket was closed and were told by the front desk we could help ourselves to the tap water haha, we did and tasted like chlorine. spoke to a few locals and they'd suggested we head up the hill to Crystal Springs for a latte n food next morning, we took their advice but once there found the coffee shop doesn't open until 9:30am haha, not sure how many people can wait till 9:30am for a coffee but we aren't one of them, I dread ever having to go back to the Predator Ridge Motel ever again. we'd suggest checking out Triumph Coffee in Vernon.
- Official Description (provided by the hotel):
- It's special here. You notice that the minute you step onto any of our 36 tee boxes. Predator Ridge Resort was created with a great reverence for its spectacular natural setting, knowing it would call out to those who wished to escape the ordinary. Located in the sunny Okanagan Valley, Predator Ridge is the place to indulge your lifelong passion for golf or to begin a new love affair with the sport. Our golf courses are a natural extension of the historic and communal grasslands known as the Commonage and are sculpted in harmony with the ancient mountains and crystal blue lakes that carved out this playground a millennia ago. But Predator Ridge is much more than a golf resort. It's one of Canada's top resort communities offering homeowners and resort guests the best of the Okanagan lifestyle - fine dining, a state-of-the-art fitness centre (with 25m lap pool), over 25kms of biking, hiking & walking trails, a general store, access to one of North America's best spas and more. ... more less
