We came from Thompson to go snowmobiling for the day and it was an AWESOME experience. We skidoo-ed through interesting trails and on the frozen lake. Special shoutout to Steve and Rick for being the best guides and the most patient with a completely inexperienced driver. To top off the special day we had authentic Thai food at the lodge which was delicious - you have to try the spring rolls. Would definitely recommend Sasagiu Rapids Lodge, it was an amazing experience!

I made a reservation for Saturday mentioning that we had a small tent and just staying for the night before taking the hike to Kwasitchewan Falls just down the road. When we got there the main building was closed for a wedding so we called and they took us to the campsite they had available for me and it was just rugged gravel lot. Tire ruts like crazy and no where we could have put a tent in. Luckily we called Paint Lake and they had two sites available left so we rushed over there to claim one before they were gone. (Can't reserve over the phone)

Met friends from Thompson here after Riding 800 kms from southern Manitoba. They have Thai food here! We had Thai spring rolls with a nice chilli sauce, a nice steak and a fantastic supreme burger that had onion rings & coleslaw in it. Prices were reasonable for the north and petty much anywhere in Manitoba.

Food this trip was Excellent, we did have some issues in the past but they seem to have improved. Pricing is reasonable for the area. Friendly service and nice atmosphere to have a nice breakfast, lunch or supper!!

We have a cabin nearby but this is absolutely worth a special trip from Thompson (to catch Pisew Falls and the Rotary Bridge on the way!) or call ahead and pick up Thai takeaway on your way by and it will still be warm when you arrive at your destination or your picnic table! The main chef, the owner’s partner, is from Thailand and truly prepares every dish with loving care. Even the American dishes are solid, with clubhouse on focaccia on the verge of noteworthy. Dishes can be prepared with a full range of spicy heat, and in the peak season there is an exceptionally good buffet on weekends. Stop in. Please. You’ll be deliciously rewarded for your trouble!
