The buffet is disgusting. The last time there they had Yorkshire pudding. Actually we're popovers so hard and dry you couldn't cut them or eat them even with gravy. The lasagna had a hard crust on top

enjoy going to the restaurant periodically - love the buffet on Saturday for the Prime Rib - best price in town! The dining room in the replica train station is very nice - DO NOT think they needed to do any renovation - don't know what it will be like when they finish - used to like going to Club Regent - now that they have remodeled there - the outside looks 'sterile' NO appeal - hope McPhillips does not end up the same...

Stopped in to kill some late night fun.
This is a huge casino and is undergoing some major construction/expansion.
Lots of newer machines, huge bingo area., and a big tables game area
Very busy place , open 24 hours on weekends.
The parking is a bit of an issue, but they do have continuous shuttle service .
Had a great time!

In the beginning, the Casinos of Winnipeg were actually fun. As of January 2017, both Casinos have become sorry excuses for actual gaming establishments. Personally, I avoid the table games, because there are not enough tables available to move on should luck run out at one. Bingo used to involve charities that offered volunteers to sell paper products with money given for services rendered. Now, there is only paper bingo at Club Regent. No more volunteers. I wonder where all the money goes now? Good question. Club Regent was supposed to be a tropical oasis of fun, now, it is a large orange crate. McPhillips Station is undergoing a make over. Bingo there also no longer involves volunteers or charities. It involves amalgamating the two casino bingo halls into one, offering less money for games with more difficult patterns and random bingo card sets. Bingo at these casinos is now as exciting as watching leaves fall from trees.
