Make sure you come hungry because you will leave stuffed! By far the BEST pizza in town. Depending on the type you order, it can be a bit pricy, but, you certainly get what you pay for. LOTS! One of the best patio's in town with the lights in the tree's, secluded from most of the noise from Corydon itself, very romantic and private setting. Inside the décor is great, fountains, dim lights and soft music. Always an enjoyable time here.

We ordered a meal for two from Colosseo Ristorante Italiano through Skip the Dishes delivery service for our anniversary. We live 5-minutes away from the restaurant. It took at least 1hr-15min to arrive which would be OK if the food hadn't been cold. The cheese was hard on the cheese toast. The veal was so thin it was almost beef jerky. Half the salad was wilted. Overall it tasted like the meal sat on the counter for 1/2 an hour waiting for Skip the Dishes to pick it up at the restaurant. All this for $90.00 including tip. We were encouraged to let Skip the Dishes know about our experience. They told us they would get back to us that evening. This was 2 days ago and we still haven't heard anything.

Tried here as a treat for a mid-week supper, as have driven by and the outside looks very inviting.
Inside the decor was nice enough and menu looked appetizing and authentic.
Unfortunately, the waitress, who apparently has worked here for a long time, demonstrated a lot of attitude. We scrolled the menu to find 'Home made Pasta' dishes, but were disappointed to discover that they don't make any pasta onsite, it is bought and only the sauces are made in-house.
'Who does that anymore?' she said. We responded, 'Actually we do'.
We continued to review the menu and decided on a pizza instead. My husband checked to see if the dough was at least made in-house, which resulted in a sarcastic comment from the waitress - of course they make the dough onsite!!! Asking to substitute bacon for pepperoni was impossible and the chef apparently was unwilling to do this!!! In conclusion, the pizza was mediocre, the service was inattentive and full of attitude. We wished we had eaten elsewhere!

I love the Colosseo patio in the summer because the inside of the restaurant is a bit dark but I love the food so I go anyway. Service is great, the wine glasses are full and the food is fresh and always outstanding. Although everything is good, my favourite is the Eggplant Parmesan which is the best in the city in my view. I have had several seafood dishes and they were fresh and great too. The salads are always fresh and the bread warm and very good. A gem in the Corydon area.

5 of us went out to celebrate some great happenings. I had a cavatelli with sausage which was nicely spicy, another had a seafood pasta which was very good, one had a curry chicken dish on pasta, and the other 2 had basic pasta dishes. All were very good. Waitress was helpful even though restaurant was very busy. A little noisy. Had a good Malbec with meal.
