We recently had our staff get together at the Delta Fredericton. It was definitely a great experience! The table of course was set up in the kitchen. The food was absolutely amazing...such great variety and the textures and flavours were a wonderful mix. The chef and staff were all so helpful and explained the way some of the food was prepared. It was so delightful and I think everyone enjoyed themselves! Always up for something new and different!

The first time we visited this hotel was August 2019 and we thought it was great and CLEAN. Decided to come back in December 2019 as we pass through Fredericton 2x a year and our stay was awful. SO disgusting. To start, the room was “cleaned” but not well. There were men’s beards clippings all over the sink, the tub was questionable, when trying to put our kids to bed, the tv wouldn’t turn off (so we had to wait for a maintenue person), and when we went to take our kids to the pool, it was full of hair. So gross honestly. Plus, the service at the restaurant was god awful. It was bad the last time, but coupled with everything going on this time, I don’t think we’ll be making this hotel part of our annual stay. 1 Star.

Went for the 4 th consecutive year for the Christmas dinner, and it was completely awful. There was no seafood chowder as advertised. Most of the dishes were ice cold, so the were either left from the brunch or nor prepared fresh. The desserts were just thawed cheesecakes, some cookies and a candy bar. Very little selection. The service was poor as the staff just wondered aimlessly. No organization at all. The only positives were the turkey, beef and ham were good. Will I go back back? No. I basically got robbed of $100. I know that I’m not the only person that feels this way as many were saying the samething.

So the staff at check in were great, the room was nice, the shower was a bit underpowered but at least it had solid hot water. The room was very chill to arrive in, only at 19 degrees according to the thermostat, but it warmed up quick enough after adjusting the thermostat. The room was clean. The pillows were meh, one good pillow and the others were chunky for whatever reason - not sure how else to describe a pillow. All this said I would be at a solid 4 or 5 stars happily BUT
Why does this hotel serve breakfast to your room in a to go bag and container?! I’ve stayed at many Delta hotels and never experienced this before. I filled out the wake up morning breakfast card the night before, and was ready for breakfast expected to be served on a normal tray with plates for your food and silverware. What came at 6:30 in the morning was classic breakfast - 2eggs, 3 sausages, and potatoes with an English muffin all jammed into a to go container with a plastic knife and fork - I didn’t want my breakfast to go, I wanted to eat it in my room like a normal breakfast same as I would in the restaurant, but in my room. Also the sealed plastic container it was served in kept all the steam in so the breakfast was nice and wet and dripping too. Anyway - it ruined my morning, I ended up just abandoning it after a few bites and going somewhere else for breakfast on my break later in the day.

I stayed 2 nights. There was a large agricultural conference in town so a number of people on my flight in were at the same hotel. Check in went quickly. My room was spacious, overlooking the St.John River. Basic amenities in the bathroom (shampoo, conditioner, lotion and body wash). Nice walk in shower. There are renovations taking place in the lobby so the restaurant is located in the lounge. Food very good, first night had the tenderloin with apple crisp for dessert. Both were excellent. Second night it was very busy so sat at the bar. Seafood chowder was very good. Appreciate that construction noise did not start until after 8:00 in the morning.
Really enjoyed this Hotel - it's been around for a while but continues to renovate often enough to stay nice and modern. Great view of the river. Great staff. Slightly outside the downtown core but only a couple minutes away, but also makes it a quiet spot. The bar is really nice too. Stayed for a wedding and the banquets staff was great too.
