We spent the day in Moncton on August 27th and decided to start the day with brunch at the Casino. The price fro Monday was advertised at $6.99 if you signed up for their reward program, so we figured we'd give it a try.
The food was good, but the Omelette Station was set up in an area that made it hard to get by when there was a lot of people waiting to get in line for the rest of the buffet. The selection was good, but the hashbrowns were very dried out and the bacon was not great, but for a $6.99 buffet it was too bad.
After spending the day in Moncoton we decided to drop by for the supper buffet on our way home. This was also advertised as $6.99 on Monday, but when we went to pay the cashier told us that price was for people 50 and over. The advertisement does not tell you that if you are under 50 the price is $9.99. Still not a bad price, but it should be clearly stated what the prices are.
The selection featured pork loin and southern fried chicken. I found at supper the servers and cashiers were not as friendly as they were when we went for brunch and were very rude to people that asked any questions. The southern fried chicken should have specified that it was all chicken legs, because that was all that they were putting in the trays. We tried to ask if they had other pieces of chicken, but they just ignored our question and said more chicken would be out, which was more legs.
I found they were very slow in refilling the selections and salad options did not look very fresh. One positive point is the drink station. They had coffee, tea, water, soft drinks, and juices to choose from.
As for deserts, the selections were few, but the ice cream was good.
Not sure if we would go back again, especially for the supper buffet.
