Great stay! The rooms were very clean, had extremely comfortable beds. The staff were exceptional. So helpful, and always had smiles on their faces. The view from our room, and the conference room, was stunning. The restaurant will not disappoint!

The best place to stay in St. John’s! Located on the historic Water Street with amazing things to do and see on either side of the street. Close to the downtown bars and restaurants. Most tours pick up from here and if you booked a boat tour- walkable to the pier. Amazing spacious rooms that are very modern, beautiful and clean.

Excellent, knowledgeable, staff and fantastic room. Clean. Location was perfect and walkable to all sites. Front desk had spot on recommendations and our room had a lovely view of the harbour. Coffee and snacks at the cafe were fantastic. I would stay here again, hands down.

Beautiful room, great staff, delicious food, walking distance to the main strip. I love this hotel, I like this brand and plan on staying there again. Highly recommend it. We only stayed one night but would have stayed longer had our plans allowed for it. Try the breakfast sandwiches !

I had the privilege of staying here 4 or 5 days in August. OMG, if I had been the Queen of England I could not have been treated better! My cell phone did not work while I was there and I had to rely on them for so many tasks. Dinner reservations, locating directions to many places, hours of operation of various places, airline information, etc. Even my laundry came back perfect! They were all so cheerful and gracious and never acted put upon. To name a few, Lauren, Justin, John, Natalia, Jordan and of course Bailey who deserves a special shout out for exceptional service above and beyond!
The Alt is a modern hotel perfectly situated in Downtown St. John's and is well within walking distance of scores of shops and great restaurants, including incredible Terre on the main floor. I was really sad to leave but brought home with me so many wonderful memories.
