Decent hotel, located right in downtown - walking distance from most things. Good hotel, facilities were well maintained - pool was nice, rooms were pretty clean, the small museum and ships information was nice - was a great touch to the history of the city. Good place to stay in St Johns.

Very good location, close to Water Street where there are many shops and restaurants. Hop-on Hop-off stand in front of hotel. Disappointing that the only vegetarian options at the hotel restaurant were poutine and protein-less salad. Comfy beds. Older style hotel.
Our bus group stayed 4 nights at the Delta. My husband was not feeling well and just wanted to eat poached eggs and toast. The kitchen and servers were very accommodating. Peggy and Pauline who worked the breakfast buffet were phenomenal and I really appreciated their kindness. The other hotel staff was good too and despite the illness we had a good stay.
We had a great stay, at this property. The staff were very friendly and went above and beyond, for us. The hotel was in a great location, very close to downtown and the harbour. Lots to see and do in the city and just outside of it. Room was comfortable and decent.
Stayed here for 4 nights and overall we had a very comfortable and convenient stay. It is very close to downtown so just a quick walk away from George and Water Streets where you can peruse and experience many different restaurants and shops. I attended a conference so really appreciated the convenience of the indoor connecting walkway. The lobby is very airy, bright and spacious with good seating, including ample seating by the Starbucks. We dined at The Pinnacle restaurant twice and quite enjoyed the food, would recommend it as an easy meal without having to wander far. Our room was lovely with a view of the harbour, we enjoyed breakfast with a view. Enjoyed the amenities in our room, the fridge is larger than typical so we had good storage. Our housekeeper Grace was very friendly and made sure we were taken care of.
Only complaints are the bathroom does not have a fan so it can fog up easily. Check-out was also quite a wait as it was peak check-out time and only two staff were working. Also wished there was a grocery store somewhere close by to the hotel, friends told us the closest one was 20 mins. away; we relied on the Circle K across the street for milk, pop and ice cream.
We enjoyed ourselves and would recommend this hotel.
