It was a wedding anniversary celebration. We had the three course option with paired wines. Menu options are limited. All three courses were perfectly presented and delicious. Wine pairing excellent. Service was excellent. The outrageous bill ($375 for 2) was expected and this was a once in a lifetime extravagance for us.

As a family who shares everything, we had 4, 3 course menus. We chose the 3 starters and mains that were on the menu and had the starter of the day and the main of the day. As well, we opted to not have the pork main and were offered a beef alternative. The way of this restaurant is that anything that you want, they will accommodate to have you happy. And we were happy!!!
All courses were plated at the same moment. The staff work as a seamless team. Everybody has a smile in their eyes and on their lips.
An amuse bouche started us off and our tastebuds were happily amused.
The starters were tuna tartar, lamb ragu with squash agnolotti, tomatoe salad and a zucchini pasta. Each one was plentiful and delicious. The mains were a cod dish, a halibut dish, a seared tuna dish and a beef tenderloin from Prince Edward Island. We also enjoyed a wonderful Willamette pinot noir. Absolutely delicious, every bite and sip. Our server was informative and friendly. We had all of the dessert choices and the 4th creation was an incredible cheese plate. 3 wonderful offerings, 4 crackers that were each special, a nut assortment too.
As we were celebrating a special birthday, a selection of macarons, chocolate truffles, homemade marshmallows and candied chocolate all with a candle and good wishes.
This is a special treat of a restaurant and we totally appreciated everything, right down to the hot, fresh baked bread with outstanding whipped butter. There is no shortage of calories here, but every calorie will be remembered for a long time. Newfoundland food at its supreme freshest and best.
We must say that the steak knives are very different and sharp as well.
