I'd seen rave reviews of Raymond's and to be fair my food experience was pretty great (loved the scallop crisp with gooseberry but the chanterelle pasta was a bit too rich) - but $400 for 2 people drinking only wine by the glass...that's obscene! Our service was good. The sommelier was lovely. We had a much better experience at chef's other restaurant - Merchant Tavern. I wouldn't go back to Raymond's I'm afraid.
