We went there a friday night, we were able to make a reservation at 8h15, so maybe its better if you make a reservation a day before at least if you want to eat around 7h pm. Great service, the waiter was really sweet. Yummy food, the duck meal is one of the best according to the waiter, my boyfriend took it and I took the shellfish plate. Around 150$ for 2 main dish, 1 entree, 1 dessert and a bottle of wine.

Thank Caroline M

Looks plain outside, Perfect inside. The food, the waitering service and the atmosphere were excellent. We went on a Friday evening. Restaurant was packed. Lucky to get in without reservation for a table of 2. Upstairs room had a great view of the downtown street. Very friendly staff. Place was tastefully decorated. Food was superb. From the beet salad, to the lamb and salmon; all cooked to our request in perfection. Will visit again. Highly recommended. Opened for over 5 years but never been in there until now. What a miss! A hidden gem indeed. Price was very reasonable in line with other similar restaurants in downtown area.

A regular on the circuit for business meetings from the U.K. and I stumbled on this little gem after a few visits. The food has always been of a high standard so far and the service matches. It's definitely a firm favourite and worth a visit when in St. John's. The rack of lamb is a huge contender here and so is the mussels.

The food is very good. The appetizers are a meal on their own. The chowder clearly is a full meal! My colleagues had a sampling of several items on the menu and everyone was very pleased with the food. The service was a also quite good. A safe bet for a business meeting!

Our party of four enjoyed a wonderful dinner at this space.
Following our beet salad we enjoyed a Shellfish Plate and a Cod platter. The presenattaion was perfect, more Boston than St John's (no offence). Warren provided an excellent level of service. My martini followed by Chardonnay were served chilled and punctual.
The ambiance was contemporary and modern.
Terrific play list highlighting Sam and Dave, James Brown and other rhythm stars provided a funky hip setting. Love it.
Highly recomended.
