Staff are very friendly and helpful. My room was absolutely gorgeous and the outside balcony was an unexpected bonus. Both the hotel and my room were sparkling clean. My room was well lit and having the option to open the door or window during the day to let fresh air in the room was appreciated.
One of my only complaints is the "breakfast" that's served. I went downstairs the first morning I was there. Breakfast options included juice boxes, digestive cookies, granola bars, muffins (very tiny) and clementines that were roughly the side of a golf ball. Every other hotel I've stayed at that had a "continental breakfast" included had some protein filled options (yogurt, cheese, milk, etc.), cereal options (hot and cold), a variety of fruit and in some places even toast. Oh, and coffee...there's always coffee and tea! This was a major disappointment for me because I was in town to study for/write an exam and I specifically chose a hotel with breakfast included to maximize my study time there...and also so I could have a nice, filling meal before my exam. I opted to pop to Sobey's to get some oatmeal and yogurt for myself and didn't even go downstairs the 2nd, 3rd or 4th morning I was there. A place to sit down and eat breakfast (other than your room) would have also been a nice addition, everything was set up on a small table next to the check-in desk.
The location is not the most convenient if you're planning on spending time downtown or in Airport Heights area but great for Costco trips and shopping around Paradise. Another minor inconvenience was the fact that the ice machine was on the main level, meaning anyone on the second floor has to go downstairs just for ice.
