Great outdoor seating to watch the action on George Street while enjoying some good pub food. Irish music enhances the experience.

We dropped in as it was recommended as we were told they had great live music. Sadly, we could barely hear the single fellow playing guitar and singing. Food and drink arrived promptly but the ambient noise made even talking to the person next to you impossible. I felt sorry for the singer!

If you want a Guinness it is only served on the main level, but otherwise a great place to stop for a pint and a bite to eat.

Nice Irish Pub at St John's good variety of beers and a good Menu, friendly people with live music.
We had matches and they were absolutely delicious , home made chips.
Their outside seating is nice since no cars pass by the street.

The pub is beautiful. We heard a local musician, playing Newfie music. I think I could stay all day/night listening. The service was very friendly. Our food was good, however, the portions of cod and moose in the cod au gratin and moose stew were lacking. My wife had to search for chunks of cod, and there was very little moose in the stew. Overall, great atmosphere.
