This Garden is beautiful and so relaxing to visit. Everyone is happy when you meet them. Some people will share their story with you and the rest of the Shy people will extend a greeting. The Flowers are so beautiful and it has many trees. The Swans and Ducks are swimming by in the streams. On some afternoons they play music on the Bandstand. There’s a little canteen where you can pick up ice cream, pop and other treats. We stayed there a few hours and Loved it.

This is a very nice place to visit. There is a lot to see there and a lot of people have their reception there for their wedding.

Lovely gardens laid out in Victoria style with raised flower beds, band stand, lake and statues. The lake had three model ships on it, including one of the Titanic. Loads of tourists off the cruise ships slightly marred the visit.

Halifax's Victorian style Public Garden is a must see anytime of the year. It's a charming oasis in the middle of the city, steeped with colour & history & ponds & waterfowl. Best time to visit is June, when the gardens are filled with hundreds prom dresses & tuxedos as local teens get their grad pics in front of the Victorian gazebo or the ginormous rhododendrons or the pretty bridges and ponds.
