The Discovery Center is a must-see attraction for anyone interested in science. The exhibits are geared towards childern but they are fun and informative for any age. I was expecially impressed with the quality and design of the interactive displays.

Took the nephews. They like it and like the rotating exhibits. may want to have a permanent dinosaur exhibit of some sort. Would also like a bit more stuff for older kids. 10 year olds get bored in an hour. But really nciely laid out and not expensive. good family outing.

It was a rainy day so we decided to try the Discovery Centre, knowing it would be filled with other families escaping the rain too, but thankfully it was busy but still manageable.

The staff are friendly, engaging, and passionate about the Science they are sharing with the kids. I was really impressed with the amount of hands-on activities that were engaging and enabled the children to learn by doing/exploring.

Would highly recommend this beautiful new space!

Very nice place. Well designed and interesting. Our kids (11 and 13) went through it quickly and found most of it to be for younger kids so they were kind of bored. But the dinosaur part was great. Dome theatre was closed "due to illness" (not sue what that meant) so that was disappointing. Nice place to spend a few hours on a rainy day for sure.

It is virtually the same Discovery Centre as it was in the old building. Essentially, it is a crowded play ground, with high admission fees. I would advise to visit it on the least busy day, or when it is free on Wednesdays. Not much "discovering" however.

Hello, thank you for your review, we’re sorry to hear that your experience was not exceptional. It is true, our busiest days are when it rains, and there is heavier traffic in the mornings with local summer camp visits, though we are lighter in the afternoons. Our Centre is filled with hands on, interactive exhibits designed to bring STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts and math) to life. We hope that you will visit us again and check out a Live Star Show in our Immersive Dome Theatre, tinker in the Innovation Lab or check out the latest featured exhibit.
