We spent quite and bit of time walking the boardwalk then taking one of the rides to make surewe did not miss anything. The Boardwalk has something for everyone and some lovely restaurants.

The boardwalk defines Halifax. It's a must see and is pleasant even in bad weather and worth the walk. Shops and places to eat dot the length of the walk.

Taking a stroll on the Halifax waterfront is a must. Take in the beautiful and fun sights. As well as being entertained by various vendors. The waterfront is home to many gift shops and many friendly people waiting to meet and greet you.

The Halifax waterfront boardwalk is great. You can normally stroll from the seaport market all the way along the waterfront to the historic properties. However, check at the moment as there is development on the boardwalk that has closed part of it.

I love being able to walk the Halifax waterfront. I was very glad that they installed the floating boardwalk as part of the waterfront was cut off due to construction. There are so many great shops, restaurants and beautiful sailboats and yachts to see along the way.
