The staff was super helpful and kind to us. The building itself was beautiful and very comfortable. I had almost forgot we were right next to a major road with how quiet it was inside. 10/10 hotel overall I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who needs a comfortable place to stay.

Rooms have been remodeled. Beds are comfortable. Staff is very nice. Went during covid-19 and the room included breakfast which was not being served. Should have got a credit for not receiving all services. When we arrived in the room there was poo stuck inside the toilet on the side. Money and styrofoam balls on the floor. Parmesan cheese in the fridge. Packages for the spoons and coffee have been opened and sugar removed. Floor had not been swept. And the sliding door at the bottom was filled with not just dirt but cobwebs hair and other things. Floors were not washed as my grandson socks were black within half an hour of walking around the room. I did tell the staff. Being we had a 1 year old who had fallen asleep I told her we would stay in the room.
Other than the beds being made the room did not appear cleaned. With covid I would have thought they would have cleaned better not less.
I had to check the parking lot every time we left as there were screws everywhere. There were also a lot of shady looking people staying there. It felt like a hostel for homeless people. I felt safer in a hotel down town Detroit. $130 for that was like salt in the wound. I mentioned it again before we left to the desk all I got was have a great day and no reduction of the bill was given. We did take pictures.

Warm clean room. Very comfortable bed. Very close to a well-traveled highway which you can't hear. Breakfast is satisfactory. Make-your-own waffles as well as the usual hot items. Convenient to town and tourism.
