My family had to stay overnight during the COVID pandemic and I had fears about staying somewhere public. I decided to go with the Garden Inn as I have stayed at this chain and know it's level of standards. Well they lived up to it.
When we arrived there were hand sanitizing stations EVERYWHERE! As soon as you walked in, at the front desk and in front of the elevators. I especially appreciated the disinfectant wipes right outside the elevators so I could use it to push the buttons and not my bare hands. We got to our room and there was a seal on the door stating that everything inside had been cleaned and sanitized. You had to break the seal to open the door. Even the TV remote had a cover saying it had been sanitized. God knows the remote is probably one of the most touched objects in any hotel room. I definitely appreciated that attention to detail.
Everything else was up to the Hilton standards that I always expect and rely on. The room was clean and comfortable, the front desk staff helpful and friendly as always.
If you have to travel during these crazy times, this hotel will definitely make you feel easier about staying.
