Phoenix farm is nestled between the hills and the bay and at night you see nothing but the starts and the moon reflecting off the water from the balcony. The hosts, Mike and Noel are super friendly and Mike's dinners a magnificent (and oh so plentiful). Most places need a little drive so this place would suit those with their own transport. Conveniently close to Port Arthur, while still being only 30 minutes from Hobart airport. A gem of a BnB.
Thank you Mike for your wonderful hospitality - totally loved our visit. Thank you for the most beautiful dinner you cooked for us. Highly recommend.
Mike and Noel are the best !
The house is great, the meals are great, the garden is great.
It truly is a beautiful spot, midway between Hobart and Port Arthur, and only 30 mins from Hobart airport.
Jenny and I will be back !
Go out of your way, eat Mike’s wonderful creations, and enjoy a stay you’ll never forget- sounds as if I’m Mike’s best friend... well, we’d never met before a couple of days ago. Mike attention to detail is Michelin star quality, both in the beautiful apartment, and in his food. Oysters were caught that day, and home made brioche for breakfast just to touch the surface. The morning sunrise across the ocean well worth rising early for...Thanks to Mike and Noel ( stunning garden) for a totally memorable stay, Kindest regards -Mark, Marg and Jamie
Phoenix Farm Stay is a fantastic B&B. Mike is the most amazing host and created a sublime range of entrees, dinners and desserts for our group of four. The garden they are recreating after the fires is a work of art and love
