One of my favorite Restaurants in Mississauga. Love the new décor. It is a nice touch that when they bring you the menu they also bring out some very delicate bread with a dipping dish of olive oil and balsamic vinegar .. we shared an appetizer the crab cakes, nice quite tasty , but We both would have preferred a lemon dip as opposed to the one that was served ( a bit spicy not overpowering ) We both chose for our main course the veil chop it was the special of the day, medium rare it was DELICIOUS .. the wine reduction sauce was to die for .. We shared for dessert a Crème Brûlée , excellent and very rich. Ended it with a regular coffee.. Another evening at Ristorante Alioli..

Every December, I have the opportunity to visit this wonderful restaurant which was just renovated by the way. Their cross-cut braised veal shanks are simply outstanding. Served on a bed of risotto and paired with a lovely red. If you've not been there, add it to your bucket list.

My work team and I went to Alioli on December 19, 2017 for Christmas lunch. I haven't been here in over 5 years. The restaurant was packed. Even so the service was great. The food was very good as well. The food and wine prices though are a little higher than comparable Italian restaurants but we still had a great time. You can tell that alot of regulars come here because the waiters all were giving everyone hugs and kisses on the cheeks. A nice touch. I would give Alioli 4 1/2 stars only because of the prices. Otherwise they would definitely be a 5 star Italian restaurant for food, ambience and extremely friendly and attentive service. I definitely recommend this place.

Excellent service and excellent food. Finely prepared with ample flavour and proportion. Atmosphere is not as nice as I would like but clean and modern. I think they recently did a little refurbishment. Our friends had been there before and said it seemed to have been updated. I had the seafood spaghetti. Pasta was cooked to perfection. Muscles were a little cool but the hot sauce and pasta quickly warmed them right up. The crab leg was a bit of a waste in the dish as it was very little but did add a hint of flavour. The other seafood, shrimp and calamari were excellent and done just right.

Only problem is price. 2 - 9 ounce glasses of good Chianti an ice cream coffee desert and some spaghetti with seafood totals to about $115 per person! Little on the steep side forme.

This is an Italian restaurant with good food, although the selection is somewhat limited. The pasta dishes were good, as were the fish dishes (according to others at our table). A bit on the expensive side, but not too bad.
