We stayed in this hotel for 1 night early November. Hotel is very old and needs some renovation. My child was asking me why there are cracks in the batch tub. Rooms are quite small and lack air ventilation. Rooms were clean and linens were spotless. The only positive fact about this hotel is location and tunnel that connects it to other attractions. Parking was ridiculously expensive. We parked up the street for 10$ over night.

We have always wanted to stay here. It’s nice and very historic but the bed UGH! I thought i was on the floor super super firm. rooms are small and very thin walls. i’d like to thank the couple next door proving that when she was praying!
parking NOT included and being the falls parking was a premium.
other than that it was a nice place we most likely will not stay there again.

This room was clean but that is about all it had going for it. Staff was friendly. Two twins pushed together to make a “queen”. For 300 after tax for the night would think you would be able to get out of bed on both sides of the bed but you would be wrong. Bathroom was so small I had to rest my arms on the sink and toilet paper holder to sit down and use the facilities. Enough said I would not stay again. Only really convenient thing is the location. But not worth it. Better off at the Hilton or Double tree. You may have to cab or walk a little more but your stay will me much more comfortable. For less money.

Yes you can tell this is one of the older hotels BUT it holds prime view for all of the Falls. Finding the car park was simple - access to the left of the hotel. Reception is on the first floor (2nd in US/Canada speak). We hit it at the very moment a bus load of Chinese arrived but were spotted by one of the staff and dealt with promptly and politely. We were given all sorts of "Resort" paperwork and offers. I had booked a Falls View room months in advance and was a little concerned about what that actually meant - it meant a spectacular view of the falls - night and day. Believe me everything else pales into insignificance. At night your own light show! THankfully the windows were away from the main street garish neons.
The room was compact but as we were on vacation we tend to only use the room for sleep so was very adequate. The bed was very comfortable and the room very quiet so watching the falls in bright colours was an excellent way to fall asleep. The room was kept clean by the friendly maids. The bathroom was clean and the shower powerful enough.
We had breakfast and found the buffet quite good with items being refreshed regularly. The serving staff were very efficient and polite - especially Lorianne who quickly sussed our "hot tea with milk" requests. Check out was easy and quick.
Yes this hotel is a bit tired but it is the oldest by a very long way. We found any staff we encountered extremely helpful.
You can walk all the way inside to the main drag popping out by the Niagara Brewery. This takes you past the Sheraton and various cheap eateries and "attractions" plus a casino. If we return we would stay again if we could get a similar room (12th Floor).

Room tip: High up and Fallsview

My fiancée and I stayed here for a few nights while attending a wedding for a night nearby.
Check in staff was friendly but checked us into a low floor right next to the indoor pool (we didn't go too budget on the rooms). The curtains were clamped shut as the window faced directly into the pool and therefore anyone would be able to see into your room otherwise. We kindly asked to be changed rooms and asked for a front facing room (to the falls due to the "Fallsview" part of the name). Still on the lowest floor but was quite satisfied compared to the first room - like the reception said "it works for some people".
Beds were comfortable, bathroom was clean besides the toilet flush was extremely loud!!! So loud it would wake the other person up in the middle of the night!
Otherwise housekeeping was super friendly and went a lot out of their way to make us feel comfortable and at home.
