Our hotel gave us a discount coupon for Remington's Steakhouse , and we really didn't think much about it at the time. However, while navigating the circus of Clifton Hill, we spotted Remingtons about a block off of the main strip.
The restaurant is semi formal at first appearance, but is actually very friendly and welcoming. You could be dressed in a nice suit and be right at home, or just casual street clothes.
Starting with drinks, and then the main courses, everything was delicious and presented very well. My wife had a filet with a lobster tail, and I enjoyed the prime rib, which was one of the best I've had.
A neat thing about being there is that at random times, your server may break out in song. This may seem off putting at first, but it was actually nice, and they have some talent in there. Not all servers sing of course, and they won't do it while serving you dinner.
From the very start of our experience at Remingtons, we were treated with joy and respect, and the service and friendliness of the staff suggested that it also must be a good place to work, where the employees are treated well. We had an exceptional waitress. I believe her name was Casey, she deserves the credit.
As far as the price goes, it may be a bit pricey, however, I have never had a problem with paying for something that is truly worth it.
