I am from the UK visiting family and we were looking for something different than burgers and hotdogs. We had a delicious meal and the service was excellent.

The staff and the food were both excellent. It was a charming atmosphere, especially compared to the chain restaurants around the falls. I would highly recommend this if you are in the area. Reservations are needed.

We went on Sunday for the roast beef dinner. It seemed a little gitchy, with the Prince and Princess tacked to the wall. But we were escorted upstairs by a lovely gentleman, the owner, and dinner exceeded our expectations. The food was truly homemade, by the owner. The roast beef was excellent, as was the fish and chips. We were lucky enough to get the last piece of chocolate cake. It was homemade, beautiful and fabulous, we eat a lot of chocolate cake. The chocolate was subtle and smooth, not harsh or sugary. Even better than the chocolate cake was the sticky toffee pudding. It's a very moist cake with warm toffee on top. It's on the outskirts of town, we walked, but you may want to drive.

I saw this listed on a directory and thought it was certainly something different than fries and burgers. The owners/cooks are English and authentic, the food is delicious and menu has a nice variety. Parking is behind the building, off street and free, do not park in the dentist's lot next door. My quiche was enough to satisfy, you are not limited to cucumber sandwiches and a nibble of bread. We took a dessert home for later.

You should make a reservation, since it is a very small place, but the ambiance is great. Small intimate rooms, real china plates and teacups. I had the fish and chips and it was delicious. Great fries! They have a great variety of tea as well. Try it.....you won't regret it
