Good location, but stay away from at the smaller room at that B&B. The bed, that is too small for two people to comfortably sleep on, sports an ancient metal frame that is guaranteed to leave you with barked shins. There is really no room for anything else. The proprietor of the B&B is mostly absent and does not seem to go out of her way to provide you with directions or suggestions, although she does cook a large, hot and fairly tasty breakfast.
Also, we left her a couple of postcards and a few Canadian dollars for postage and asked her to mail them for us. Neither of the recipients got the postcards, so we can only assume she didn't mail them, which was very disappointing, as we put some time into choosing and writing those cards.
Next time, we'll probably skip the homespun charm and go with something generic--at least this way one knows what to expect.More
