The former market mainstay Italian restaurant Manga closed it's doors on 2014.

The new restaurant to emerge is a great find. Embracing Los moertos this Mexican themed menu if far from fiesta Mexicana, and definitely lively.

The Tequila old fashioned was so smooth it snuck up on me without the typical bite.
The scallop civiche with watermelon radish and passion fruit was incredible. A Must try.
The plates of fresh tacos left my mouth watering.

Small and large appetites satisfied.

A Must Visit in the market area. The staff are welcoming, knowledgeable and fun.

We had a good dinner at Ace Mercado. The tacos were quite good, especially the lamb and the eggplant ones. The fish taco was not tasty enough. The tuna and the scallops plates were delicious, but really pricey for the size of the plate.

However service was quite bad: our waiter didn't seem to care and we waited for ever to get the bills. And the chairs are so uncomfortable!

Overall good Mexican food but too pricey for what you get. Good drinks though!

The food has good flavour but the prices are not reasonable for the very small portions you get and it's fairly obvious that the whole intent of this location is as a not-tapas, tapas bar for trendy people, not as a restaurant. It's too bad since the concept could have been successful if it focused on the diners and not the after work drink crowd.

I was told the menu was designed by one of the Top Chef Canada winner. Exciting. This place was very busy. I enjoyed the cocktails they made, a little pricey, but very nice. Had some taco, it was nice. One more cocktail, and off to Soto for us.
