Our family did a Sunday morning hike through the trails.
It was Beautiful scenery along the way. You can take a number of trail routes that vary in distance. We chose to visit the Sea Lion.
See pics below.

An absolutely beautiful park. Scenery like you never seen before. Watch for bears. Lake Superior is cold. Take all g the story of nanabijou to tell around the campfire.

We drove through the park to see the fall colours. It was a lovely trip and would have been more exciting if it wasn’t raining. There are several hiking trails with varying challenges from a 1/2 mile hike to Joe Creek with a series of small waterfalls to a 7 mile hike up to the top of the giant’s head with scenic views of Lake Superior. The drive on Lookout Road is 6 miles on gravel but gets you a view of Thunder Bay. There are some campsites available in summer. You can drive or bike right to the end of the peninsula and stop at one of several lakes. It is unspoiled with nature at its best.

My son and I camped here at the end of August/ beginning of September. It was a fantastic experience. We managed at least two trails per day. We really enjoyed the Top of the Giant trail. The view was breathtaking. We will return!

The visit was an adventure of a lifetime and everyone that can must!!!

The trip took me 13+ hours to drive there from Innisfil but it was one of the best hike I have ever done, if I have the chance to do it again I will stay overnight on the top ...
