I stayed here, with family, for a long weekend. It was a good location for our plans, right off the 401. For the price, the hotel was nice looking and the rooms clean. The cleaning staff was pleasant and happy to assist. The breakfast, which is included in the room rate, was disappointing - basic and repetitve. However, the fresh flowers on the breakfast tables were a nice touch.

We checked in, given a room, and as soon as we walked in there was a mouldy stench (we think from the AC).We turned off the AC, and it didn't go away. Our eyes were burning, and we were getting headaches. Another hotel visitor who checked in at the same time, walked out of her room and said the same thing.
We found another hotel and left.

Dear Guest,

We understand after checking in to your room in hour and half you checked out without being charged. Due to your complaint the room in question was not sold and thoroughly investigated, we can assure that no mould or cause of burning eyes were found. We regret your experience, complaints of such nature are taken seriously as we take pride in our product. We hope this response will assist you in giving us another opportunity to be of service to you.

From the dirty AC wall unit to the 1970's style chain and rubber stopper for the bathtub to the calcium caked on the shower head, I wouldn't even get undressed in this hotel room. We complained, switched rooms, and it was still so bad that we checked out the next morning.

My friend and I stayed here three nights while visiting Toronto. We had a car so it was fine to be a bit out of the city, but it wasn't too convenient to public transportation if you didn't have a car. The hotel itself was good, staff was friendly and the room was clean. We were close to the vending machine and a hallway door so there was some noise from the hall. Breakfast was also decent, but they didn't have a huge selection, though we enjoyed the pancake machine. The front desk also exchanges US dollars and there's an ATM in the lobby. My only complaint is that there wasn't a safe in the room, though there were signs everywhere saying not to leave valuables out. Apparently there are safe deposit boxes at the front desk, but I didn't feel comfortable leaving things there and we locked stuff in our suitcase instead, though we didn't have any trouble with things being taken. The shower drain was also very slow, but other than that we had no problems and I would likely stay there again.
The wifi was great and very fast.
