Overall this was a good place to stay overnight. Not in the main part of downtown, but we wanted to be closer to the zoo. It was also convenient to a mall with a movie theatre, restaurants (quick easy style for families) and activities. Easy access on/off highways.

The rooms and bathrooms could use some updating. Not sure how old the hotel is, but time is catching up. We were "upgraded" to the 9th floor. Our end was very quiet. Bathroom was so tiny my knees got banged while on toilet and kids coming in (you know cause with kids it's impossible to pee alone!).

I arrived around noon and the man at the front desk was able to arrange early check in which I really appreciated. In the morning however, the cleaning crew knocked on our door at 11/11:15 and asked us if we were checking out...I said yes, but not till checkout time (noon). I felt like I was being rushed out!

It would be nice if they added in a complimentary breakfast for the price of hotel night. Did not use the pool and I'm not sure if there's a workout room.

You'll need a taxi to get to this place if you are tourists and arriving from the airport. Expect the fare to cost between C$43-50.

Check in was fine. Room was large, warm, comfortable and wifi enabled. Hotel includes a pool and small bar area which also serves hot food.

Breakfast was outstanding and served buffet style. Dining area was beautifully set out and extremely well managed.

We were car-less and so front desk people were very helpful in arranging taxis for us to downtown Toronto. This journey can take between 20-30 minutes depending on traffic.

This was the only downside to the hotel. It's not centrally located to all the attractions and so works out expensive if you're taxing back and forth.
