We booked a weekend romantic package for a double room (off-season in winter), and received an upgrade to a suite with an enormous bathroom, jacuzzi tub, huge HD television, champagne & chocolate-covered strawberries greeting our arrival, and diligent room service. Couldn't ask for more on a frigid January weekend in the city.

Dear Toquesouq,

You paint a superb picture – we couldn’t have done it better ourselves. With the prospect of snowstorms looming, thanks for the reminder that winter weekends in Toronto can indeed be wonderful.

One quick note for TripAdvisees: while our tubs are large enough for you to make some waves, they don’t actually have jets.

We look forward to welcoming you back for another winter warm-up.

Bundle up and enjoy!

Sincerely,
Murray Henderson
Director of Front Office

One word: Perfect.

For our 5th Wedding Anniversary, I surprised my husband with an overnight stay at the Le Germain Hotel Maple Leaf Square (he surprised me last week with a rockstar weekend).

Our entire experience was top notch end-to-end. The 8th floor room we were upgraded to (thanks to Tripadvisor VIP Voucher) is reminiscent of high-end hotels in Tokyo, but bigger. Uber clean, modern design, high-tech everything (including the gym equipment which we used the morning of checkout), massive closet, bathroom to die for, and the beds... oh the beds and linens... I want them for my house and may just order it from the Le Germain online boutique store.

The night we stayed was the night of the Pacquiao vs Marquez boxing fight on HBO PPV. My husband and I were excited to watch this of course... long story short, the concierge on duty that night (Gregory) was able to reserve a table for us in a neighbourhood sports bar and we were smack in front of a projection screen TV.

This is an ultra luxurious experience and we felt we had the hotel all to ourselves. Ambient lighting and discreet service adds to the exclusivity feel.

This hotel is the benchmark by which I will hold all other hotels to.

Room Tip: Use the Tripadvisor voucher for a room upgrade (subject to availability), late checkout, and welcome pastries.

Spent a day and a half in a business meeting at this hotel. Great location, great service and the catering was excellent. A bit pricey for some but worth every penny.
Had a minor issue at the check out but Evan, (the clerk at reception who had the same name as my first-born) was kind enough to help me out.
The rooms are great and very avant-garde. Loved the shower. Location is great.

Although this is the 1st time we traveled to Toronto I must say that the Le Germain brand is one of a kind. The location is situated between the Maple Square arena, Toronto Skydome and CN Tower.

The decor is modern and fresh and sleek. Room service may have even been our best meal! A cool part was a chauffeured Audi that takes you around town .Our balcony was no more than 50 feet away from a gigantic screen infront of the Maple Leafs Stadium.Real Sports Bar and Grill ( with a 32 ft screen) is connected from the rear of the building as is a wonderful supermarket and Starbucks.

We were so comfortable with the location.Everything is minutes away.Toronto a a beautiful city and Le Germain is quite a value when you factor the no shortcut approach to excellence.

Room Tip: Ask for a balcony suite. Its worth the price.

An excellent hotel, very well located in central Toronto. We had an executive suite which felt like no one had ever stayed in it before. What made the biggest difference though was the staff: extremely helpful and attentive. A special thank you to the two concierges Greg and Susanne (?) who made our stay unforgettable. This hotel is a "must stay"!
