This was our third dinner at Salt. As before the food was delicious and nicely presented. As before the decor and atmosphere were pleasing. This time, however, the service was lacking to the point that it detracted a little from the evening overall. Our server was efficient but "cold". It felt like she disliked us or disliked her job or maybe both.
We didn't enjoy the risotto but the ceviche ($14) was delicate and light, the spicy lamb meatballs ($16 for two!) were great and the grilled octopus with fingerling potatoes ($18) was terrific. We liked the iberico ham on ciabatta but $12 for two little bits is overcharging. We were hungry so we ordered 5 dishes between the two of us.
