Best place to get the late sun in summer in the area. The food is pub nosh, good friendly service and a decent vibe. They have a cute tradition: if you are inside (cooler months) they have a window at sidewalk level... if a dog appears (dragging the dog walker behind), the bar staff hand a treat to said canine hopeful. Delightful stuff. Great specials and good times.

Stopped in yesterday while walking around Toronto. Friendly polite service and equally nice beer. Great $5 offer on 2 types of beer.

Had a look around the flatiron building which was quite interesting.

Cannot say about the food as we did not eat but it looked pretty good and people were not complaining.

Stopped in for a few drinks and some fries. The fries were good, the drinks were good, but a little pricey. Drinks in all of Toronto were pricey compared to the States though. The staff was always checking on us and were very attentive. Wouldn't hesitate to stop in again.

I visited the Flatiron and Firkin on a very busy Saturday night and thoroughly enjoyed myself.
Sitting outside in the front courtyard meant that we were able to people watch, chat and enjoy the warm Toronto evening weather.
Our waiter was very attentive and made sure that we were never without a drink or meal. He offered great advice on the meals and told us which his favourites were.
Even though the restaurant was busy, the waiter managed to keep up with everyone's orders and never faltered once.
The food was perfect for pub food and my steak was cooked to perfection. This will certainly be a place I return to in the near future.

Been there many times. Went last sunday of the month. Cold food. Both resent. Curry flavorless no coriander ????? Tiny piece of chicken and the shep pie was greasy and pre frozen tasting. Service ok. Only had to ask three times for a water w lemon! Prices very high. Tiny shepards pie 14$!

Never again. Loud music couldnt hear even after asking to turn down a tiny bit

Only four tables were being taken so its not like all were swamped :(((( lame

Maybe mgmt changed. Was great last year.
