In the world of mass production, automation and volume production, this unique skill to carve out of marble and make such large structures is amazing.

Do not miss
(1) Murti Darshan - the sacred shrine visit at the upper deck temple and the exquisite carvings on the 10~20 pillars
(2) Aarti (check timings)
(3) Nilkanth Varni Abhishek - at the lower floor (check timings)
(4) The Indo canadian museum - also at lower floor

Having just learned of this building in Toronto, and having only visited one other Hindu Temple I wondered how I would get so far off the beaten track. Well TTC came through. A beautiful ride across Toronto and an hour and a half later I arrived at the front door of the Temple. The building is a work of art - for certain - exemplary in every detail. The inside is even more spectacular - but no photos allowed. As this was only my second visit to a Hindu temple I had expected more of what I experienced on my first visit to the mountain temple in Malaysia. It fall short from a number of perspectives. But worth the visit and the lengthy trip. Brought back memories of my visit in Malaysia with my friend who explained each of the temple altars to me. This temple had fewer altars and seemed much less a spiritual retreat than a tourist museum. There was quite a bit of information presented reasonably but not as inspiring as the building itself warrants

It was beautiful to see the stone architecture! It also has a small museum inside the temple which provides in-depth view of ancient Indian history.

A slice on India in one temple! That's how I would summarise this place. You should visit to see the intensity of details that exist!
