Have long been a fan of Rose & Sons and Fat Pasha so wanted to try the Big Crow. Not disappointed at all. The restaurant is down a back alley behind Rose & Sons so you feel like your going into someone's backyard for a bbq. You go through the door and enter what feels very much like a down south BBQ shack -- except it's got heaters so you can sit partially outside in the late fall. So locale is fun and then you turn to the food -- which is fantastic. We had the sausage platter (3 different types of sausage, sauerkraut and a large pretzel), a half slab of ribs and the potato salad. They were all delicious -- this is the place to be if you are a carnivore. We washed it down with the sticky toffee pudding - some of the best I have ever had. Excellent service as well. Our server was very attentive and the "greeter" asked us several times if everything was good.

Big Crow is an amazing place in Yorkville! Excellent ribs or smoked chicken drums prepared on open grill. Also try the delicious corn cake!

Came here after a day of visiting local brew pubs and wasn’t disappointed! Ordered the beans, potato salad and the full rack of ribs (plus some beers) Oh and I can’t forget the sticky toffee pudding for dessert which was excellent. It was a gorgeous night so sitting outside was lovely. The service was awesome too- really friendly people. All in all, a great meal and a great time!

I visited for a wedding, otherwise would never have gone since we're vegan. It's definitely a carnivore's dream. To be fair, they did try really hard to accommodate two plant eaters who were quite out of place.

Aside from that it made a beautiful rustic/chic wedding. Every photo during the day and at night was picture perfect. It can be dressed up to look awfully romantic.

I'd never go here again for obvious reasons, but it's definitely a unique, once in a lifetime place to check out.

This is THE place you need to go for your next dinner in Toronto. The food is absolutely amazing and the ambiance is very unique. You certainly don't feel like you are downtown Toronto.

Don't miss trying the cornbread. It's just spectacular.
