My husband and I are members of the TSO.

The TSO offers a plethora of shows and varietal in nature. Recently we have seen Second City does the Symphony, 12 days of Christmas, Abba, Mozart and the Mendelssohn Choir to name a few.

There is never a disappointment. They have exceptional talent at all levels and all musicians.

The membership offers great perks including no service charge, access to certain restaurants in the area with a discount, great prices on tickets, the ability to switch tickets in advance if there is a conflict with the evening you've selected.

The Mendelssohn choir is bar none. I've seen this group on a few occasions and they are outstanding.

The conductors have great personalities. They are comedic, they do a great job describing the pieces that will be played out and they do a lovely job in engaging the audience.

Something to consider if you love the Orchestra.

I have been complaining for years that the guest performers for the Pops concert series at the TSO features American singers, so it was a delight that not only were the two singers - Chilina Kennedy and Ryan Silverman - Canadians, but so was the choir, the 100-plus voices of the Amabile Choirs of London.

I often go to hear the TSO, and I am fortunate to be in a choir that sometimes sings with the TSO.
The variety of repertoire performed, the high level of musicianship, the talented Peter Oundjian make this orchestra a must to see and hear again and again!

We recently attended "Messiah" at the Toronto Symphony. The choir alone was 125 people and another 30 violins and other instruments and 4 soloists. A superb world class performance!
The production was excellent and the conductor put so much feeling and life into it, that it became an emotional experience.
The acoustics are so good, it feels like you will hear a penny drop on the stage and it carries every note, pure and clear to you.
TSO is something we all should visit from time to time. It is a soul cleansing and uplifting experience!
