Stayed at the hotel as it was in close proximity to the Rogers Centre where we were attending a concert. Fantastic location - walking distance to Front Street, the Esplanade, Union Station, the Eaton Centre, Queen Street, etc and easy to hop on the subway if you want to go a little further. Staff at check-in were very polite, as were the valet staff. Valet parking is $45 but the easiest option. The room was a very spacious, modern suite with a king size bed, and a sitting and kitchen area that included a fridge, microwave and safe. There were also two TVs. The furniture was in excellent condition with the exception of the coffee table, which was a bit scratched up but I think that's because there is no luggage rack, so you tend to put your suitcase there. The only 'complaint' I had, was that the bathroom is small with very little counter space. But it does have a separate shower and bath. The room was very quiet and the bed very comfortable. I would stay there again.

Room Tip: We had an inside room so the window faced a courtyard area in the center of the hotel. Quite dark as not much light coming in the window.

Dear Kim S,

Thank you for your feedback and for choosing One King West. I am pleased to hear that our prime downtown location, our attentive staff, as well as spacious home-inspired suites were instrumental in making your stay an enjoyable one. Our location is definitely one of the things we are very proud of about our hotel. We are so lucky to have a property in the heart of Toronto and a very strategic location that brings our guests just a few steps away from must-see attractions and modern-day conveniences, such as the Esplanade, Eaton Centre and Union Station as you mentioned.

Again, thank you for your review and I look forward to welcoming you back in the future.

Regards,
Steve O'Brien

Good location, staff nice and helpful.

Stayed in the "Historical Tower". Rooms felt very cold and industrial. Hallways were confusing. Would be a decent option for someone who requires a stove and dishwasher in their room. If you are looking for a night away with the wife, would suggest you book elsewhere.

Dear burley32,

Thank you for your feedback and for choosing One King West. I am pleased to hear that our prime downtown Toronto location, as well as our attentive staff were instrumental in making your stay an enjoyable one. Every member of our team works hard each and every day to provide an uncompromising level of service and it is always rewarding to hear that our efforts have been recognized and appreciated.

I am disappointed to hear that your suite did not meet your expectations as our hotel strives to provide our guests with the highest quality of service in all regards. For yours and your wife's next stay with us, I would kindly like to suggest booking out Tower Prestige Suite as this suite provide the perfect romantic getaway; featuring remarkable 270° views high above Toronto.

Again, thank you for your review and I look forward to welcoming you back in the future.

valet in/out Parking is 45CAD and there is no real pool. We were directed to self parking but then they said no overnight parking. After driving around for almost an hr in toronto traffic we returned to hotel parking. The "pool" is large hot tub sized. The hot tub is large and hot. Separate sauna. I think this hotel is def better suited for business travel. Room is spacious w mini kitchen- 2 electric burners, toaster, kettle, mini frig. separate shower/tub.
comfortable beds, linens. we stayed in historic double. very close to st lawrence market, water front.

We use One King West for all our corporate business travelers, as well as for many corporate meetings. The location, connected to the path, can't be beat, the rooms are clean and comfortable (and super for longer stays as they all have a kitchenette), the food (room service and meeting catering) is super and the staff is polite, helpful and accommodating! What more can you ask for?!

I needed a place to stay for one week while on course and One King West was the best choice. I was able to make my own meals, had amenities that I look for (Fitness area) and when I needed assistance they were a text away. Very accommodating.

Room Tip: Ask for a room with a kitchenette.
