The owners actually have 4 B&B's all near each other, well-located downtown. I chose The Nest Inn at 41 Sullivan St. Couldn't have been a more convenient location! This is only a "B", no breakfast but fully equipped modern kitchen and coffee and tea provided. No breakfast and a very reasonable rate was a plus as I'm vegan and there are many coffee shops, etc. in the area. HIGHLY recommend this place for business travellers--it's super clean, quiet, with all the amenities needed. The loft (3L) has an adjacent library with huge wood desk, comfortable seating and lovely outdoor deck in the treetops. It's charming, flooded with light and very, very relaxing. I will definitely book here again!

Room Tip: The 3rd floor loft was gorgeous.

My husband and I spent four days and nights in Toronto and used 4 Sullivan (of the Baldwin Inn family) as our crash pad. Our large and comfortable room was on the third floor with a south facing window with views over the tree-lined street and some of the TO skyline including the top of the CN Tower. Because of the clever design of the house, from the ensuite bathroom, we also had a view of the very prettily landscaped back garden. The bed, bedding, and pillows(!), were very comfortable and the shower was excellent (wonderful pressure). The nicely appointed kitchen and living room and courtyard-type backyard were communal and inviting. The house was perfectly air-conditioned during the few swelteringly hot days we were there. We were very comfortable there, it was very reasonably priced, and we would most definitely stay there again. Within easy walking distance of some of our favourite restaurants! And our host, Roger, was a helpful sweetie.

Room Tip: Our room was on the third floor and there is no elevator. Fine for us but unsuitable for anyone with mobility issues.

It was our first time to visit Canada and we looked online for places to stay other than a pricey hotel. We looked into other bed and breakfasts and made our decision to stay here at Baldwin Village Inn. We were excited about our stay and looked forward to it. We were greeted by the owners and taken on a brief tour of the house. As well as our accommodations as well. We stayed in one of the rooms upstairs (room 6) to be exact. And what a great room. Had all the benefits of a small room by was close to the bathroom as well.
This Inn is more like family. The warmness that they show to each guest is personal and sensitive as well. Always ready to help out and do what it takes. Was given a map of the area as well as some great places to walk and eat at.
The Inn is located so close to everything that walking is easy. No reason to move the car. leave it where it's at and your'e set.
Parking can be a bit tough on the wallet. But if you find a place to park. Pay for the whole time and just enjoy the adventure.
Walking distance from CN Tower, The Waterfront, Roger's Centre, and plenty of parks and restaurants. As well as Toronto University, kensington market and Centre Island as well.
Plenty of places to see and do. All of this is so close that you become so busy that a great shower to unwind from walking around all day.
Baldwin Village Inn has just the perfect size and place to make all of it, right close by. Have a great time and enjoy the city.

Room Tip: We loved staying in room 6

We actually stayed at the Burrow Inn, which is part of Urban North Inns. They are all very close to one another, and this house was conveniently located near Queen Street West. Upon arriving, the owner warmly greeted us, gave us a map of Toronto, and directed us to many popular locations and restaurants within the area. The housekeeper was also very kind and would speak to us on a daily basis. We stayed in Room #3, which was located upstairs and had its own private balcony. This was lovely, and the amenities felt fresh and modern. The room was clean, albeit a little bit of dust on blinds etc (this was a minor thing for us), and we felt secure in the home. I loved that we were seconds away from popular shops and a Shoppers Drug Mart for purchasing beverages or snacks in the evening.

We stayed here for 3 nights in June 2016. It was a nice B&B, located in Chinatown. It was our first experience sharing the bathroom with other guest. It was regular, large enough rooms, clean bathroom. However, there was one day the toilet clogged, but it was soon fixed.
The breakfast was good, freshly made.
It was a good area for Chinatown and Asian cuisine, close to public transport, and several restaurants. There is an ice cream store besides it, with very different flavors one has to try (I promised to myself never eat Durian again though).
