The service was good here so no complaints there but the problem was the food and prices. Too expensive for what you get. I ordered the Chicken souvlaki priced at around $25. A sub sweet potato fries is a very small portion and cost $4 extra when the meal came with fries. The chicken skewers were the side pieces of the chicken breast on sticks, the part with the cartilage and stringy pieces. Very rubbery. I came with a team from work for the first time and we would not come again.

It's welcoming with different beer specials, excellent craft beers, decent bourbon and scotch selections. It also keep me tuned on sports because of their 4 tv and with a friendly service and quick food who would not raise a glass to that.

My visit to Spirits Bar & Grill coincided with Comedy Night (Wednesday). If you’re not in the mood for chuckles and groaners with the main, I’d recommend arriving no later than 7:00 p.m.

It being the Leaf’s first game of the season, the bar side was busy; the dining area was relatively quiet, with comedy regulars beginning to full up the space around 8:30.

I chose the Angus Ground Beef Burger topped with house-made relish, served with house-cut fries and house-made Jicama (Mexican turnip) slaw; from the add-ons, I went with a slice of cheddar cheese.

The plate was a model of presentation with the onion rings serving as the deep-fried crown to the colourful meal. The burger was tasty, thick and juicy, deftly complemented by the sides.
A glass of Jacobs Creek Shiraz matched the meal to a T. With ever-efficient service, I was happily on my way pleased with the experience and just before the sound checks began.

Spirits is always an experience. Good food and good drinks are a guarantee here. They have events like comedy and karaoke weekly. The patio in the summer time is a great space to enjoy the sun and several beverages.

Had lunch here with a few lady friends. I ordered a beet salad and was anticipating a salad rich in beets. What I received was dish composed mainly of greens, with a few small piece of beet. Most disappointing.
One dining companion ordered a burger. Not wanting the fries she was asked if she would prefer another side dish. She also selected the beet salad.
She was also disappointed when our plates arrived.
Disappointment turned to dismay when she discovered she'd been charged an extra $4. The server responded that the menu states the extra cost. Wrong answer.
The other meals were satisfactory.
We will not be returning.
