Friendly Pub type, restaurant and bar, with attentive staff and a very extensive menu
mainly the usual fayre found around these parts - whilst the portions are more than adequate
plenty of silent TV's to watch as well!

Went to restaurant with my husband - both ordered fish and chips - him regular fries and I ordered the house cut fries. Our fish was over cooked and both our chips were on lukewarm. I would not recommend the house cut fries in any case and particularly with the fish. They are heavy on grease and their favour overpowered the fish.

If you are hungry for some good food, Hunters is the place to go. Giant servings at a very reasonable price. We were told this is where the locals eat. The menu is huge and has it all. I had a 16 oz sirloin one night and the seafood pasta another night. Both are great dishes. Don’t get fooled with the temptation of soup and salade bar with your entrees - it’s nothing special.

We moved to the sidewalk seating, crowd inside too loud. Street was quieter.

Service was very fast. Servers were very pleasant & several kept checking on us, keeping waters & pop topped up.

Fish & chips were the best. Ask for the home cut fries. Fish Batter was crunchy & not oily.
Wife loved the Caesar salad

Came to this place later in the evening as it was a recommendation from someone I had asked where a good place to watch a Stanley Cup Final game. This place was the first place they suggested and it didn't disappoint. Sat at the bar and met several locals and had a great time with sports chat and simple interaction. Bar staff were great here and were spot on with service making sure our drinks were always full, but not being overbearing with asking. Timing was everything and they even got into some of the bantering at times. Great spot with a very diverse age demographic.
