First : If you are looking for a quiet hostel as I do, this is the place to stay. I really enjoyed my stay, I met some nice new friends there.
Good location downtown, close to the metro station, walking distance to many restaurants and mall, walking distance to Old Montreal (15/20mn).
Nice hostel, a bit old but it is not a probleme at all, friendly and helpfull staff, The 6 Bed female room is clean and good with large lockers and comfy bed.
I totally recommend it.

Small but nice hostel, if you wanna visit Montreal for a couple of days, is an excellent option. Good location, the building is a little bit old, but is not a problem in general. Clean with good shared areas.

Very nice staff, great location and great price. Very clean and comfortable hostel near to many great restaurants and walking distance to old town. Few streets to the metro stop and shopping mall. I am not staying so often in hostels but I would not mind staying in this one again.

The only thing I didn't love about the hostel is that there were two staff members staying in our room. We were asked to stay quiet because there were people sleeping in the room (even it was 4:00 PM and we weren’t noisy, were just taking out our coats!), after this happened we always were whispering and trying not to bother anyone in the room.... kind of uncomfortable.
Not saying atmosphere is bad in this hostel, but not the kind that I like.

Room Tip: Ask for a room were nobody from the staff is staying at.

Dear guest, thank you for leaving feed back! We apologize for this situation; it is indeed not normal to be expected to whisper in the rooms as early as 4PM, our standard is 10PM. We will follow up with the respective staff. Thanks again for coming and safe travels.

This is a great hostel. Very clean, the bathroom is cleaned throughout the day too. Rooms are clean, there are lockers with a key, and you get a code for entering, so it's safe. The location is excellent, pretty much on the main street in Montreal. There are lots of options for eating out (a good taco place a few blocks away, they also sell deserts, and a good vegan restaurant just a block away, on the same street). The rates are affordable, and you get great service for your money. I'd highly recommend this hostel.
