This is not particularly well marked, but is definitely worth the stroll. Starting at the west end of the Dufferin terrace ( away from the hotel), it takes you just below the walls of the Citadele all the way to the Plains of Abraham. great views across the St. Lawrence

World class promanade and an energetic walk. Lots of stairs and plenty of rest spots. Great view and if I lived I Quebec this would be my go to walk.

Running in front of the Chateau Frontenac along the cliff above the Vieux Port and overlooking the St. Lawrence River, the Promenade is a lovely site for an early morning of late afternoon saunter. Street musicians add to the charm.

This is a very well made promenade. It is very wide and long. It goes from the Hotel Fontinac to the Plains of Abraham. Just as a warning - there are quite a few steps close to the Plains of Abraham.

Walk along the Fleuve St. Laurent, up stairs and through a tourist area. Be prepared to climb and to sit and admire the view. There are many plaques that describe the history in English and French. You can also admire the Chateau Frontenac and the water, and admire trees and the waterway. Worth doing, but be prepared to hike!
