A very clean, quiet hotel located in the middle of Plurien. While the rooms are great, and the location convenient to see some of the local beaches and cape Frehel, the main selling point of this hotel is the wonderful service provided by the owners. On top of making sure we knew where all the local restaurants and attractions were, and the great breakfast service, upon learning that we had punctured a tyre on the way to town, the owner called a friend to make sure we could have the repairs made first thing in the morning to make sure we could continue our holiday. Would recommend to anyone exploring the Brittany Coast!

I stayed at L'Hotel Le Bon Cap after finishing two days on the GR34 hiking trail and I could not have asked for better hospitality. The manager was extremely attentive and helpful when I was looking for a nearby restaurant (he also speaks some English). When I missed my bus to Saint-Malo, he asked his handyman if I could hitch a ride with him to Dinard. Of course, not before a nice leisurely coffee at the bar :)

I had a great experience and the town of Plurien is certainly quiet enough that you will sleep well! I paid 51 Euro for one night, and it was well worth it.

This tiny hotel in the small town of Plurien, France was easy to find. It was updated and quality all the way with private parking in the back. The man and woman running it were very helpful. They also displayed great patience by letting me practice speaking my French to them.
Breakfast was one of the best we had traveling through Brittany and Normandy.
The rooms were clean, comfortable, and very up to date (even having rainshowers). The location of this hotel is peaceful and was a good anchor spot to see the surrounding area.
Top notch value.

Le Bon Cap is situated in Plurien - not exactly in the middle of a big town, but well situated for exploration of Cap Frehel and the northern coast of Brittany . It does not appear to be any great shakes as you drive up. But, you are met with a warm welcome by the always helpful proprietor. My room (101) was facing the street, but it was quiet and calm. The lighting is good, with small halogen spotlights alongside the bed for reading. The bed is firm, and does NOT take up the entire room. There is a small desk and a sofa as well. The cabinetry is sufficient with shelfing and a hanging space (although you might need to ask for more hangars - I only had two, but that was sufficient for my needs).

THe bathroom is surprisingly large, nicely tiled, and equipped with good towels. The shower is a corner stall, but quite modern, in glass and ceramic instead of the plastic that you often expect to find in lower cost hotels; water pressure is good with lots of hot water.

WIFI connection was goodin the room, and provided free of charge. Free parking in provided in back and there is also a parking lot across the street. Hard to ask for more!

Room Tip: For more privacy, ask for a room facing away from the street.
