This seems to be the hub of the medieval town of Torre Orsaia. It’s clean, the staff are friendly and welcoming and it’s the perfect spot to explore the surrounding national park of Cilento.
The accommodation is perfect and there is a restaurant that serves amazing tasting food and pizzas to die for! There is also a very well stocked bar and a separate pub! If you need a place to explore this culture rich part of Italy I would thoroughly recommend.

The food was outrageously fresh and delicious, not to mention copious. The people were warm and inviting and although very few folks spoke English, it was surprisingly easy to communicate. The beds were comfortable for Italian standards but if you go in August, prepare for intense humidity and heat. No AC which seems to also be the standard in Italy. However, the beach is close by and the atmosphere of the hotel is so wonderfully old style with their outside dining and folks strolling up and down the street. A truly special experience.
