We have been here once before & we were satisfied with our meals. Its a small pub with a lovekt outdoor area & a kids area. Unfortunately this time we were very disappointed.
We visited on a Saturday afternoon and were served burnt food. Most of us could not eat or finish our meals & because we had waited a long time & were eating outside no one wanted to return to the bar to complain. Nobody came to check if the food was ok & our plates were left on our table for about 40 mins after we stopped eating. We mentioned about the overcooked food to a staff member who looked like he worked in the kitchen & was taking a cigarette break but we didn't hear anything more.
Very disappointing

The food was amazing and great selection of drinks, also catered really well for the celiac in our group, lots to choose from off the regular menu, charming indoor and outdoor space, everything you would expect from a country pub.

Just stopped off for a pub lunch on a hot day. Only live in Ipswich and had never visited before. Very busy little pub but with many outside tables and very accommodating with children and dogs. We both ordered the lasagne with side salad and garlic ciabatta and I haven't had such a good lasagne in years, best I've tasted in ages. You must try it. Will be back soon. Thanks.

We had a very good lunch here last week. Real chips not the usual pale frozen offerings served in most pubs! Food was delivered to our table quickly by a very pleasant young man. Unfortunately the visit was spoiled by the rather sullen young woman behind the bar.
