Very clean, modern kitchen and nice mondern bathroom. STUNNING view from the room and especially the breakfast restaurant. Owner is plain amazing and lovely and will help you out with everything and will give you great suggestions to make your stay as great as possible! Beach is beautifull aswell!

We stayed at the roof terrace (as I understand the best apartment in that building) with my family for 1 week…
It was a beautiful family time with absolutely heartbreaking views. Appartement looked better in reality than in all photos - very nice, bed and pillows are very comfortable. Beach is just downstairs away, very clean, quite refreshing sometimes…we were slightly surprised that breakfast is included;)))less work for me!
Playgrounds, other beaches, restaurants and some shops just 200m away, Split centre is 10-15 min by taxi, we used a lot Uber (cheaper compared to others). Our children loved to be by the pool area (probably they didn’t like stones at the beach), where we could find a lot of water games etc…
Special stars of our stay were Mladen and his wife Milena, and daughters Maria and Magdalena who makes your stay the most comfortable you can imagine, most important you feel like at home…;)
I can not not to mention that I felt Ill all over sudden and Mladen took me to the hospital at 23pm and took care of all check ups…

New apartment, swimming pool is relaxing, water is really clean.
What makes the location special is the host, he was very welcoming and very helpful.
Even they left us small breakfast to go because we left too early before breakfast time

We traveled as a big group to this hotel.
The owner is the worst host I have ever encountered. He hovered around us at all points and would not leave us. He organized a buffet dinner that was overpriced and served 5 dishes in total for a price of €30 per person.
He has no idea about how to run a hotel or guesthouse.
The rooms are absolutely not worth €200 EUR.
He doesn't have any staff other than his daughter and wife.
The place is 40 min from Split and the only redeeming feature is the access to the beach from the stairs although there's no lights near the stairs or in the pool area
My boys and I had an excellent stay at Ark for some days. Reality was even better than expected from the pictures and descriptions. And that says a lot. Perfect location with stunning view, great hospitality and perfect breakfast. Very clean and fresh apartment. So helpful, warm and reflected hosts- the family runs this place with their hearts. We’ll sure come back!
These folks turned our trip from disaster to wonderful twice. We arrived late evening in Split but our baggage did not. Mlden the owner greeted us when we arrived, and was up early finding us at their amazing breakfast the next morning, with a smile, and eager to intervene for us to help us get our bags from the airline. He made no less than 50 attempts at the phone number provided, and when he finally did get through, he was successful at getting the airline to find our luggage, and then deliver it to the Ark Apartments. There is no substitute for having an advocate who speaks the native language in a circumstance like that. We had our bags on day 2, otherwise we would have been high and dry without clothes etc.
Their facility is air conditioned, clean, well appointed, and our view of the sea was breath taking. Our room had a kitchen that included a refrigerator, cook top, oven, and dishwasher. The rooms were spotless, and clean linens and beach towels were abundant. The breakfast that was provided by our hosts was lavish, with an endless array of baked goods, fruits, meats, sausages, eggs and juices. Their coffee was to die for. We enjoyed the pool and the numerous very comfortable lounges, tables and umbrella like coverings. The pool was sparkling and warm. The easy walk down to one of the best beaches in Split was 85 steps from the gate leading off the swimming pool. The general area of the facility is well placed and easy waking distance to numerous restaurants from one star to five star, a marina and boating if you so choose to enjoy it.
Where the entire family really excelled was in their kindness and attention that gave to us. Unfortunately, my wife and I both contracted covid from spending too much time in the congested tourist areas of Split. As a result, it was necessary to extend our stay and quarantine in our room. We were so incredibly well taken care of by our hosts. They did shopping for us, and were there for our slightest needs. Always eager to help and always with a smile and kindness that we will never forget. We were delivered to our door a generous breakfast every single morning, with a second coffee delivery too. Our host connected us with a local restaurant, with an excellent menu, and saw to it that we had deliveries for lunch and dinner. My wife and I joked that we were quarantining In what felt like a luxury Rivera hotel.
My wife and I will never be able to thank Mladen and his family enough for the care, concern, help and kindnesses that they gave to us. We were 5000 miles from home and sick with Covid. You can’t imagine the fear and trepidation we felt when we found ourt we were Covid positive. These people stepped up and treated us like we were part of their family. They took the fear and stress away from us.
Trust me when I say, you will not find a better set of hosts, nor a place to vacation that exceeds what we experienced. We were treated like family, and they will treat you the same way.
