The Villa offers great accommodation for families in an apartment type room with fully fitted kitchenettes. The apartments are very clean and nicely decorated but unfortunately the location of this accommodation was not suited for our needs. We wanted to be closer to Split town but luckily we were close to Trogir village which is a beautiful quaint little place to walk around, shop and eat. If you want to be part of the hustle and buzz then you need to stay closer to town. Also the public transportation does not service the route from the villa to town frequently so it will cost a taxi to transport you. Otherwise no complaints about the accommodation. Breakfast was served as a feast to the table and offers a wide selection. Good place for those looking to relax and rest but if you want to explore and see Split then I recommend you stay in town.

This place is a gem the place was spotless the service excellent the area was quiet will go earlier September next year but it was a fabulous accommodation and beautiful area the service and friendliness' of the staff was the best they could not do enough for you but be warned take elastic pants the food is amazing the breakfast was lovely and their was a roll of foil available and they would cover uneaten food and fruit for you to take to your apartment for later. It is by far one of the nicest places I have ever stayed they made our holiday perfect

We had not been to Croatia before but will certainly be going back. Initially we were slightly concerned after asking for travel info at the airport. The two ladies were not particularly friendly and didn't really answer our questions, however this was the only case of negative attitide we came across on our visit. Although we were early we decided to go to the hotel to see if we could leave our bags. Taxi ride took about 10mins. We were met by Jdravka who (after providing us with some welcome fresh juice) explained that there was a problem with our room but they would take us to another hotel in Trogir (The Bellvue) until our apartment was ready. Transfer was all very smooth and after a short wait in the cafe at the Bellvue (we had arrived before our check-in time and free drinks were offered again) we were installed in our room. All very comfortable, spotlessly clean and exceptionally helpful staff. The next day, after a massive and varied breakfast, we were taken back to Hotel Rustica after agreeing to stay in one of their apartments in the depadance by the second (larger) pool. The lovely member of staff who took us back also left us with some of the local pastries. Again, the apartment was very comfortable, quiet, spotlessly clean, with airconditioning, TV & small kitchenette. We ate out and didn't use the kitchen to cook but the fridge was handy for us. As mentioned by other reviewers, the breakfasts were extensive, usually cold meat, cheese, fruit, pancakes, croissants, bread, bacon and sausage, cake, savoury bakes, yoghurt and cereal. You could have omlette, scrambled eggs, etc, too. You could take any of the food away with you as the ladies would wrap it up in foil. Jdravka also arranged a taxi trip to Krka national park and Šibinik and cooked us a complimentary meal the same evening. The taxi driver was great, funny and infomative (we booked him to take us back to the airport) She had also made a packed lunch to take with us. The staff at both hotels work very hard and we cannot rate them highly enough. Nothing was too much trouble, they were all very friendly and kept the place incredibly clean. When we left we were given some home made liqueur to take home with us. We were very sad to go and wished we had booked longer than a week. Seget Vranjica is not that far from Trogir but a car would probably have been useful. Filip's taxi boat ran every two hours (he moors up behind the Morska beach bar). It is a lovely way to get to and from Trogir and only cost us 25 Kuna each per trip. However, we were there towards the end of the season and on our second last day he had stopped running. There are buses that run from Trogir that stop in Seget Vranjica, however they are not all that frequent - check the timetables and be aware that the bus may not be waiting in its allocated stand at the station. Having said that, it is very cheap and quick. Seget Vranjica is the place to go if you're looking for a bit of tranquility. There is a small supermarket just up the hill past Konoba Ribar (we had some nice meals there), three or four places to eat and a couple of beach bars. Boat tours can be booked as well as boat and jet ski hire. We very much enjoyed our visit and cannot speak highly enough of the staff.

Room Tip: The depadance apartment we had was located by a larger pool. We were on the ground floor but if you want views book on the second floor.

Our family (my husband, me + 3chidren 12,8,2) have spent beautiful 11days in villa Rustica in the end of August, beginning of September. We stayed in the superior apartment with very nice roof terrace. Apartment is very cozy, with very nice atmosphere. Swimming pool was a bit cold for our children (we have one by our house, they are bit spoiled whit high temperature), but it did not bother us, as we prefer see.
Outstanding breakfast, always much more food, than we were able to eat. Very nice attitude of the personal - they packed for us some fruit and croissants to take with us.
Our apartment was every day perfectly cleaned. All the staff was very nice and attentive. One day was raining, we returned about noon to our room and within 15minutes the staff brought lunch for us. Also last day dinner, which we were invited by the owner, was delicious. We have spent few holidays in Croatia but this place was the most hospitable of all. We also very much liked Seget Vranjica with its cozy small beaches, very nice atmosphere far from all bustle.

We travelled as a family of 5 adults. On arrival we were greeted by the lovely Dravka and another member of staff. We were shown to the first of two apartments booked, which was room 4 in the main hotel. It was a spacious two bedroom air conditioned apartment with large bathroom, kitchen area with dining table and 6 chairs, and a balcony with sea view. The second apartment was in the annexe by one of the pools. Although smaller, this apartment had a kitchen area and shower room and was air conditioned. Both rooms were spotless and made up and cleaned everyday.
After we settled in that evening we were given freshly baked homemade cakes and a jug of fresh orange juice.
In the morning breakfast was served outside in the courtyard area. As previous reviews have stated, the breakfast is amazing and brought to you by the lovely staff at Villa Rustica who really can't do enough for you. When you have finished eating, the staff come and wrap up the pastries and fruit so that you can take them with you. On our first day Dravka cooked us a complimentary lunch which was served to our room- a delicious chicken and rice dish.
Dravka arranged all out taxi transfers and trips which saved us time and money-nothing was too much trouble.
We took a trip to Krka which was spectacular and the staff even packed fruit and pastries for our trip. Our taxi drivers were so accommodating too, they were happy to stop at the supermarket for us to buy water and snacks for our trips.
The hotel is within walking distance of the beach and restaurants. Trogir is a short taxi ride away and well worth a visit. We had a meal in Trogir at Trs restaurant which was fantastic.
On our last evening Dravka cooked us a farewell dinner which was delicious and as we had an early flight the next day she set a table for early breakfast. We were given gifts of local olive oil and cookies to take home with us. We really didn't want to leave.
This truly is a wonderful place to stay with some of the best hotel staff we have ever met. We can't fault it. We'll be back! ...but for longer next time.
